The RMRC has two membership categories: “Active” and “Associate”.
To be considered an “Active” member there are 3 requirements:
- You must be NIMS IS-100 and IS-700 compliant, meaning both courses completed with proof of completion. Both of these courses are available online and are free of charge. Courses can be found at: http://www.training.fema.gov/IS/crslist.asp
- You must attend a minimum of 3 events a year. These events can include: our monthly meetings, available trainings, RMRC functions or events.
- You must update your membership information once a year (i.e. contact information). If you hold any licensures it is your responsibility to also update your credentials online and keep all licensures up-to-date.
All other volunteers will be considered “Associate” members unless active membership requirements are met.
